Welcome to the Amazon.com Gift Card Terms and Conditions page. Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or using Amazon.com Gift Cards.

1. Gift Card Usage

Amazon.com Gift Cards may be used to purchase eligible goods and services on Amazon.com and certain related sites as provided in these terms.

2. Redemption

To redeem a Gift Card, you must have an Amazon.com account and enter the claim code when prompted during the checkout process or through Your Account.

3. Balance and Expiration

Gift Cards do not expire and have no fees. The full value of the Gift Card is deducted from your account balance at the time of purchase.

4. Restrictions

Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash or applied to any other account, except to the extent required by law.

5. Risk of Loss

The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable.

6. Fraud

We reserve the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on Amazon.com or certain related sites.
