Welcome to Our Current Book Discussion
This month, we are delving deep into Friedrich Nietzsche's seminal work, "Thus Spoke Zarathustra." This philosophical novel is central to understanding Nietzsche's concept of the Übermensch and serves as a cornerstone for our community's philosophy.
About "Thus Spoke Zarathustra"
"Thus Spoke Zarathustra" is a philosophical novel by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, composed in four parts between 1883 and 1885. The book chronicles the fictitious travels and speeches of Zarathustra, the namesake of the ancient Iranian prophet Zoroaster.
Through Zarathustra, Nietzsche presents some of his most famous ideas, including the death of God, the will to power, and the eternal recurrence. Most importantly for our community, it introduces the concept of the Übermensch.
